Translator's Notes: This was apparently written after she came to Tokyo, from Fukuoka. There are many references in the songs, including places in Tokyo.

* 1 - Rickenbacker 620 - her famous guitar, also known for being a favorite brand of the Beatles

* 2 - 190,000 - 190,000 yen or approximately $1500.

* 3 - Ochanomizu - a place in Tokyo (Ginza and Ikebukuro are also places in Tokyo)
* 4 - Marshall - brand of her amplifier

* 5 - Rat - her PROCO brand distortion pedal - her 'zine "RAT" is also named after this

* 6 - Benji - nickname of one of her idols, Asai Ken'ichi (of Blankey Jet City, Sherbets, and Ajico)

* 7 - Korakuen - a music hall in the Tokyo Dome

* 8 - pizza place girl - Shiina Ringo had worked part time at a pizza place before she made it big, this line is one of the inspirations cited by the maker of popular underground anime FLCL.

* 9 - Gretch - Asai Ken'ichi's guitar

* 10 - The line "Ao Kande itte choudai" (Blue bite it and come for me) is a play on words - Aokan is slang for "outdoor sex" and "outdoor prostitution," and "iku (itte)" means "come" (reach orgasm)
